I have put this "article" on the Virginia 5th District facebook page. Please feel free to put it on any other Virginia GOP FB page.

Thanks, Diane Weber

As the nominal “chair” of the Trump campaign in Albemarle County (if such a title still exists), I would like to address the current melee among Republican regarding our presidential candidate’s locker-room talk which occurred over a decade ago.
Do you suppose these tapes just “surfaced”? Of course not, Hillary has been sitting on them for months, and they are designed to distract conservative voters from the issues. That’s a no-brainer. But congratulations to Hillary: It worked. The Democrats knew that Republicans would turn against their candidate for these particular infractions. They knew it would dominate the news, and that the disintegration of our nation would cease to be an issue. Well done, Hillary.

I find it mind-boggling that our country is about to disappear before our very eyes. Under Hillary, our nation will fall into bankruptcy, our Constitution will be nullified, our borders will be flooded with illegals (and terrorists) who will expect to live off the public purse, our cities will be under nuclear threat from Iran, North Korea and other rogue nations, and we will have rendered ourselves helpless with an ineffectual military (currently under gender diversification training.)

No nation in history has survived as a debtor nation, and once the Fed takes its finger off the interest rate button and the dollar ceases to be an international currency, we are Germany in 1923. The devastation that was Europe after World War II will happen here, only there will be no wealthy, generous nation like the U.S. who will step forward and help us pick up the pieces. Our future will be very, very ugly, and the apocalyptic scenes that our young people watch on the screen will become a reality.

Let’s get this straight: The one man who broke through the stifling political correctness, who had the brilliance, fearlessness, determination, focus, dynamism and iron will, to create his own real-estate empire, has been rejected by his own party because he talked like millions of other men -- over a decade ago. We Republicans are a tragic lot: we are just too good for this world. We accept the overwhelming corruption of the Democrats, but reject our own when they offend our sensibilities – ten years ago.

I confess, I live in the real world. It does not surprise me that the elder George Bush had a mistress (yes, look it up; when Barbara discovered, she stopped coloring her hair). Jeb Bush was a notorious womanizer – that, too, would have come out eventually. Ted Cruz had five affairs (even if you don’t believe it was five – I certainly would have sued had I been listed as one ), and anyone who has eyes could see that Amanda Carpenter was an ongoing one – is this why his wife suffered depression? The list could go on and on. Politics, power, money and sex are all one package in Washington, and not just on Capitol Hill, but in the DC press (of which I was a member).

And how could anyone be so naive as to think that there are no huge egos on Capitol Hill? Or anywhere, in the world of power politics? If you want to find Mother Theresa’s, look elsewhere, fellow Republicans. Having a large ego is necessary, and sometimes sufficient, for running for political office. Any politician who pretends to be selfless and self-effacing has been pulling your leg, my friends.

Let us step back a bit, and leave our sensitivities behind for a moment.

In literature, there are what is known as “round” and “flat” characters. The flat characters are one-dimensional, cardboard cut-outs, they are predictable, they are boring, maybe foils to the round characters – they are the “extras”. They lack true heroic status because they are too perfect; turn them around and you see the same side. They do not engage the imagination, and we learn nothing from them.

Then there are the round characters. These are characters who are drawn with a fuller knowledge of human nature; they remind us of people we know. Human beings are not microbes, folks; we are complicated. We have complexities, inner contradictions, self-doubts and regrets, from which we grow into being rounded, more developed human beings – assuming we learn from our experiences. If you read any of George Elliott’s or Tolstoy’s novels, or read Shakespeare’s plays, you will find these so-called “larger than life” characters.

Donald Trump is a round character. He is multi-dimensional. But oh, dear! Naughty, naughty! But while you can shake your finger at decade-old naughty talk, you know that Mr. Trump also raised fine children, and has a stable family life.. He laughs, he jokes, he gets angry, he breaks the rules. But he is a man of vision, with the courage to confront, and to run circles around, the legions of journalists (along with the Vatican, the presidents of Mexico, the Saudi Prince and a British petition) who have conspired to bring him down for over a year. There is a name for this: courage.

Most men under that kind of pressure would have wilted – run away, with their tail between their legs. For eight years, our Republicans in Congress have run from Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the press like scared little bunnies. Their policy has been appeasement. They have put their stamp of approval on Obama’s entire agenda.

Donald Trump is not an appeaser. But, his major flaw seems to be – oh, horrors! that he likes women – and, if you’ve been watching, women seem to reciprocate. We have here on our hands a colorful personality, not a cardboard cutout, and not one who pretends to be anything other than what he is. And he is not a saint.

Winston Churchill too, was an outrageously rude, crude, vulgar and highly eccentric man. He made big mistakes in Gallipoli during World War I, and spent a decade in the political “wilderness.” Neville Chamberlain, who ran Britain between the wars, was very popular with the British Paul-Ryan-style insiders. Chamberlain, appeased the Germans, ignored the arms build-up of the Germans and their violations of the Versailles Treaty -- and continued on the road to disarmament. Until it was too late, and Britain was on the verge of disaster.

Sound familiar? Churchill was brought to power by the British people, you know, the riff-raff – these ordinary folks were quite willing to overlook the warts and choose a man with the steely determination, the oversized ego, the strength and the willpower – the only man in British politics capable of saving them.

Frankly, Americans have not seen that kind of leadership for over a generation. So we don’t know what it looks like. And so we disparage what millions of Americans – the “little people” as the Brits would call us -- know to be intuitively true: That Donald Trump is a leader. He has shown us that much already. Pity the poor Republicans. We have it within our reach to save our nation from destruction, and we allow ourselves to be deflated by the carefully planted “October surprise” delivered to us by Hillary Clinton. The poison dart. The 2016 version of the totally absurd Sandra-Fluke birth control episode of 2012, which was designed to convince voters that Mitt Romney was against publicly funded birth control and therefore against women. They are too clever for us. We are easily manipulated.

The Democrats know us better than we know them. They know that they can throw a red herring – like birth control, bathrooms or locker-room talk – and we will run off the cliff like lemmings and hand the election to Hillary Clinton.

And now you will have to make the decision of a mature, practical adult. You are offered two alternative realities: Do you want to push the lever for the Hillary-Clinton-Saul Alinsky-George Soros ticket -- with Obama’s waterboy for vice president, who will take over after Hillary collapses? (Bear in mind that Obama has made preparations for this by purchasing a mansion with a ten-car garage in the Kalorama area of Washington, D.C., so that he can continue as shadow president.) Do you want to live in the slavery of a one-party dictatorship?Or do you want to be a pragmatic grown-up, and vote for Donald Trump and Mike Pence, and live in freedom and prosperity?

Frankly, I no longer have faith that Republicans are capable of saving our nation from the oncoming disaster. We no longer understand how to operate within a power-driven framework. We blame the “uneducated” Democrats, but our fatal flaw is far worse than that: We are handed the opportunity for victory and we turn our noses up because Andy Griffith is not our candidate.

We Republicans are just too good for this world.

My Ex Pat Friend Writes Again

Sometimes people get caught up in the little things and fail to see the bigger picture, what happened in FDR's time was a travesty of breaking the Constitution by FDR picking his own VP. Then in 1964 when our Statist in the 2 Party Paradigm decided to make their own rules by enacting the 17th amendment which totally took away controls that were meant for the State, and effectively handed it over to the Federal Government, it was all about control and today we have to live through it. It was all about control going to the 2 Party's and their control over the Federal Government.

I do believe if I'm not mistaken that the 2 Party Paradigm goes much, much deeper than 270 electoral votes, but in any case the 270 electoral votes is a recent thing in history, and it was completed by the 2 Party Paradigm itself. I don't really think the founders envisioned 270 electoral votes in any way shape or form, at least in the way it is performed now in modern times. But I digress the more and more people keep expecting change by doing the same things over and over, well that just about describes our 2 Party Paradigm and what happens when people keep supporting it. However if you believe it's a great thing this system, well keep hoping for real change and good luck with that. Apparently just from observation, money talks and shit walks in American Politics especially, so maybe we deserve what we get for it.

Under the Constitution it was not under a Democracy that the President was elected, it was by our representatives, but it must also be noted that did not mean the Democratic or Republican Party, they are nowhere in the Constitution, just as the word Democracy is also not in the Constitution. Basically the US of A was founded upon the individual, but since it's always been human nature to gang up in groups the individuals natural rights, even individual critical thinking has slowly been transformed into our modern day system, where the average man on the street appears to have little influence in anything political, and it's just the selections that the 2 Party Paradigm offers the individual to pick from that matters under today's system. Keep in mind that nowhere in my words here am I suggesting the 2 Party's are illegal, it's the way in which they've deviously gained control that's a little disconcerting.

The Constitution was there to put limitations upon the Federal Government, but it now appears reversed where the Federal Government is the complete power, the States are Secondary and the people are on the bottom of the totem pole today. Today the Executive Branch does mostly what it wants, with no actions ever taken by the Congress, even when Congress subpoenas records or declares an official of contempt nothing hardly happens, perhaps a resignation, but nothing drastic, even our Supreme Court acts as a political body now, the Supreme Court has no power to give the Federal Government more power, but in today's reality that's exactly what they sometimes appear to do, and our Mass Media no longer looks at the State in a Critical light, now they look upon their citizens in a critical light, it all seems topsy turvy and and it appear progressive in nature. As for the Constitution, it appears as if it is a document to be worked around, over or just plain something to be ignored if you are a politicians most especially, even though they all swore an oath to it.

In short, our politicians always speak as if we are a Nation of laws, and it is the highest laws of the land that are of most importance, that's called political rhetoric, because when it effects our highest officials, well their obviously above the laws, accountability, and responsibility, even though there are laws, they just no longer apply to certain individuals within our new system of Government. (This includes supporting friends such as Banker CEO's.) Personally that is the opposite of the way our founding fathers intended to be, I believe. Under our new system of government, half the things our representatives do is now held as private, yet our State can read our emails and collect the data contained in the emails, the State keeps us under control, when it should be the people keeping their representatives under control, along with the State.

Part II the Case against the 17th amendment;

Why don't we go to the 17th amendment, for a more in depth look at the 2 Party Paradigm, its confusion, and why it's confusing. Political Parties have no part in the Constitution, and are supposed to have no control over the elections, according to our founding fathers. The electors are not chosen by a Party, an elector is a representative from a particular State, Article 2 Sections 1, clauses 2 and 3, the electoral college is not part of a Political Party. Parties are private Corporations they are not part of government. Primaries are not a civic function, Primaries are a private Corporate Function, the private Corporate Club choose a Representative for their club, so Super Delegates and delegates in the club, that is not government, it's not the same as the electoral college. The States decide how to elect these representatives Article 2 Section 1 clause 2. The electoral college is different than the Party's delegates. The electoral college is not supposed to be partisan based, but what's happened is this 2 Party Paradigm has made it just that.

The confusion is what we are seeing right now, the 2 Party Paradigm has made it seem as if they themselves are in control, but it was never meant to be that way and even under our Constitution the Parties have nothing to do with the Government. The Primary election has nothing to do with the government, it's a private club choosing their representatives. We have evolved into this 2 Party System, and the people just follow it like lemmings. Go to clause 3, the only thing that change here is the 12th amendment, it changes how the VP is elected, but we really don't follow the 12th amendment also, since 1804 we don't really follow that anymore. In the 12th there was supposed to be 2 elections one for President and one for VP, the states are supposed to choose both. In the 12th amendment it was the concern of the VP taking over in case something happened to the President, their has not been an election that's Constitutional since FDR. Under the Constitution the VP is not chosen by the President, FDR said he would not run unless he could choose his own VP, everybody went along with it, there was nothing in the news about it, and nobody filed law suits about it, it's still not in the Constitution. Why is nobody talking about this??? Only by default do the 2 Parties get away with choosing the electoral college.

The representatives of the people are sitting in the House of Representatives, the Senators are the reps of the States, under the Constitution the President is a representative on behalf of the States in Foreign Affairs, the President was not supposed to be the leader of the US or a rep of the people. The POTUS is the general of the military under a declaration of War on behalf of the States, trade and Peace on behalf of the States, on and on with nominations and such, everything is on behalf of the States. The Senate which controls the POTUS through checks and balances concurs with the POTUS, because the Senators are direct reps of those States and they are the direct control of the POTUS. The House is the direct reps of the people.

Now, If you understand all of the above and have read the connected portions of the Constitution you can see clearly that's not the way it's working. We are not electing people Constitutionally, people do not understand the role of the POTUS, are even our Congress, so people think that the POTUS is the leader of America, we think that the POTUS is the rep of the people, but he or a future she is not the peoples representative under the Constitution.

Under this 2 Party system we get the 17th amendment in 1964, and that changed the election of Senators by popular vote, now opinions are like ass holes everybody has one, so when dealing with the Constitution one has to look at the framers of the Constitution and their opinions not ours, the Senators were selected by the State legislators, they were to do the States bidding, if they Senator was not doing the job the way the State wished, they could automatically recall the Senator. So it means under the old system, the States watched their Senators actions, and the people watched the State legislators actions. Key thing here is automatic recall, it's an instant way for the people and the state to control what happens in the Senate. (It's micro management of employees by direct control over the Senators.) Now with the passage of the 17th amendment this came to an end, and so did the States control over the Senate, you have to ask yourself why did they want this control ended? The inconvenience argument they used to get the 17th amendment passed was PR, and not based on facts. The people pushing the 17th were Statist in modern terms, to put the Senators on popular vote the following happens, 1. The people think the Senators represent the people (never supposed to be.) 2. the states lose control of the Federal Government. So the States lost their voice in DC, it forced the US to function as a complete Democracy 3. Automatic recall was designed to keep lobbyist and special interest out of Washington DC, the very second that a Senator under the previous way did something for a lobbyist or special interest he would be recalled and it was always during recess so no confusion never, ever took place as they claim, (only when in the middle of a Senate session when a Senator died was one ever replaced, if I recall that's been only twice.) that was pure 100% statist PR. So when you start wondering why all the money interest especially control our Senate, look no further than the 2 Party Paradigm and their 17th amendment to the Constitution. In fact if you look closely at these 2 Party's you'll see 95% of the problems we now face came from their decisions, they only present us with Statist to be elected normally within their 2 Party Paradigm, the Constitution and whatever it may say is way down on the list of importance to these folks and the original intentions of the framers of that document.

After one reads the first 10 amendments, the other amendments get slowly inserted for various reasons some of which were never meant to be in the first place, and I'm not saying there all bad, it's just that some are. It was never ever meant to be a Democracy, but it is now, so you have to ask yourself why, and the 17th amendment has always struck me as a place where 2 Party's now control the Government to a large degree. Since 1964 I've always felt that about 20% or so of the Senators that should have been instantly recalled were not, but that's just purely MHO. It's all about established indoctrination tech (Social Engineering.), and the 2 Party's, the government they created, and the things surrounding it have done an excellent job on the people of fully indoctrinating them into beliefs, it's understandable when you understand it's all about control. Now what these statist need to do, is make it all legal, so they should add more amendments to solidify their control, but stop spitting out all of this rubbish PR about how this was always supposed to be a Great Democracy (under their control of course.).

A good place to rectify all of this would be to have a Constitutional Convention not to ratify a new amendment, but to repeal the 17th Amendment and get rid of the money interest and lobbyist that are destroying the United States.

FBI Re Opens Corruption Investigation Against Hillary

I am a little slow to get on this one, but here is my gut feeling. They have found classified information on the personal phones of Weiner and Huma, while conducting another investigation against Weiner.
The information is so bad that Comey has no choice but to reopen the investigation. My guess is that too many people inside the FBI already knew about it which forced Comey's hand. My feeling is that if Comey had not gone public, the information would have leaked out anyway, exposing him to a cover up, or worse.
Hopefully we can finally get to the truth in the matters and see justice served. Time to drain that swamp of lies and corruption in Washington DC. Some criminal charges would be a bonus along with some jail time, but that might be asking for too much.

SPIRO AGNEW
*Nice, decent man.
Everyone in the Secret Service
was surprised by his downfall.*

GERALD & BETTY FORD
*A true gentlemen who treated the Secret Service
with respect and dignity. He had a great sense of humor. *
*She drank a lot!*

JIMMY & ROSALYN CARTER
*A complete phony who would portray one picture of himself to public
and very different in private e.g. Would be shown carrying
his own luggage but the suitcases were always empty.
He kept empty ones just for photo ops.
He wanted people to see him as pious and a non-drinker
but he and his family drank alcohol a lot!
He had disdain for the Secret Service
and was very irresponsible with the "football" with nuclear codes.
He didn't think it was a big deal
and would keep military aides at a great distance.
Often did not acknowledge the presence of
Secret Service personnel assigned to serve him.*
*She mostly did her own thing.*
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__sites.google.com_site_sundayfamilyhumour9_sunday-2Dfamily-2Dhumour-2D-2D26th-2Djuly_Never-2520stand-2520in-2520line-25208-2520.jpg-3Fattredirects-3D0&d=BQMFaQ&c=hLS_V_MyRCwXDjNCFvC1XhVzdhW2dOtrP9xQj43rEYI&r=yaq9JNRjQaAIhTSE38klpw&m=IcClHpP-NSAlfp_PTuCKTXKx5LyYGkXLETbB9ipuceQ&s=jkto9hm7PImabY_m85WuW1dsEIWDR8sDTC2g5da-oQs&e=
RONALD & NANCY REAGAN
*The real deal, moral, honest, respectful and dignified.
They treated Secret Service and everyone else with respect and honor,
thanked everyone all the time.
He took the time to know everyone on a personal level.
One favorite story was early in his Presidency
when he came out of his room with a pistol tucked on his hip.
The agent in charge asked: "Why the pistol, Mr. President?"
He replied, "In case you boys can't get the job done, I can help."
It was common for him to carry a pistol.
When he met with Gorbachev, he had a pistol in his briefcase.
*She was very nice but very protective of the President
And the Secret Service was often caught in the middle.
She tried hard to control what he ate.
He would say to the agent, "Come on, you gotta help me out."
The Reagan's drank wine during State dinners
and special occasions only, otherwise they shunned alcohol.
The Secret Service could count on one hand the times
they were served wine during family dinner.
For all the fake bluster of the Carters,
the Reagan's were the ones who lived life as genuinely moral people.*

GEORGE W. & LAURA BUSH*The Secret Service loved him and Laura Bush.
He was also the most physically in shape
who had a very strict workout regimen.
The Bushes made sure their entire administrative
and household staff understood that they were to respect
and be considerate of the Secret Service.*
*She was one of the nicest First Ladies, if not the nicest.
She never had any harsh word to say about anyone.*

BILL & HILLARY CLINTON
*Presidency was one giant party. Not trustworthy.
He was nice mainly because he wanted everyone to like him
but to him life is just one big game and party.
Everyone knows about his sexuality.*
*She is another phony. Her personality would change
the instant cameras were near. She hated,
with open disdain the military and Secret Service.
She was another who felt people were there to serve her.
She was always trying to keep tabs on Bill Clinton.*

ALBERT GORE
*An egotistical ass who was once overheard by his Secret Service
detail lecturing his son that he needed to do better in school
or he would end up like these guys, pointing to the agents.*

GEORGE H. & BARBARA BUSH*Extremely kind and considerate, always respectful.
Took great care in making sure the agents' comforts were taken care of.
They even brought them meals.
One time she brought warm clothes to agents
standing outside at Kennebunkport.
One was given a warm hat and, when he tried to say "no thanks"
even though he was obviously freezing, the President said
"Son, don't argue with the First Lady. Put the hat on."
He was the most prompt of the Presidents.
He ran the White House like a well-oiled machine.*
*She ruled the house and spoke her mind.*

*BARACK & MICHELLE OBAMA
*Clinton all over again - hates the military
and looks down on the Secret Service.
He is egotistical, arrogant, and cunning.
He looks you in the eye and appears to agree with you
but turns around and does the opposite. He has temper tantrums.*
*She is a complete bitch who basically hates anybody who is not black,
hates the military and looks at the Secret Service as servants.*

A ‘TRUE STORY ABOUT’ General McChrystal's resignation
in Obama's office from General McChrystal's book!
NEVER STAND IN LINE AGAIN
Some men carry and handle their diplomacy better than others.
When former U.S. Military commander in Afghanistan, General McChrystal,
was called into the Oval Office by Barack Obama,
he knew things weren't going to go well
when the President accused him of not supporting him
in his political role as President.
"It's not my job to support you as a politician, Mr. President,
it's my job to support you as Commander-in-Chief,"
McChrystal replied, and he handed Obama his resignation.
Not satisfied with accepting McChrystal's resignation,
the President made a cheap parting shot.
"I bet when I die you'll be happy to piss on my grave."
The General saluted and said,
"Mr. President, I always told myself after leaving the Army,
I’d never stand in line again.”
